Hello all! i'm building my first desktop soon, super excited and here is what i have so far! My budget is $800 and would like to have the best setup with that budget so any help would be great, I did also see this list with some variations and really need the build ironed out before I start buying components. Thanks in advance! :)

Solution
firstly you need to define if you are intending to overclock your system or not, as you have a K cpu (overclocking) with an B150 board ( no overclocking)

so I edited your setup for NON overclocking, selecting the 6500 CPU as for the difference of price with the 6600 you will see marginal gains. I adjusted as well the memory you selected DDR4-3000 that B150 only supports DDR4-2133 and used the saving to slip a nice 120GB SSD for your OS.

so here is thatPCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i5-6500 3.2GHz Quad-Core Processor ($188.89 @ OutletPC)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ NCIX US)

nothing wrong with that build in my eyes. only thing i would do is get a ATX motherboard instead of the micro. i had a micro on my first build i thought it was a little tight.

Then I edited again for overclocking. it is a little over your 800$ budget but would be a nice system to overclock, note this ran close to 375W so With intent to overclock the system I beefed up the power supply to 650w
