So I'm changing from my old i3 4130 cpu to a 6600k as well my new z1z0-a. Do I have to reinstall windows or can I get away with just deleting the drivers and that's that. BTW if it matters I have win 10 and my OS drive ONLY has the OS on it.

Solution
Do this before swapping hardware. To do that you need latest version of win 10 so download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB, in case you don't have a new copy now, and find you need a clean install.

As for question, it might work fine or it might require a fresh install, its hard to say. Some times it works fine, other times it doesn't.

I would copy anything off C you want to keep before moving, so you are ready if you have to fresh install.
