Current CPU is AMD 860k, I'm looking to upgrade my gpu but sticking to a budget not really going over £120. I was thing rx 460 4GB.
Also I know I need to upgrade my cpu but I have to spend my money on other things.
Is the rx 460 a good match, people have said gtx 960 but it's out of my budget. Gtx 950 seems to be the closest but not by a lot of fps and is more expensive.

the 1050 ti is a LOT faster than a 460

and would be a good pair with a overclocked 860k

1050 ti > 960 > 950 > 460
I think the RX 460 2gb is the one to get, if price is the main consideration. It's a good match for your CPU and can handle most games at 1080p as long as you're not trying for the highest settings at 60fps. The 4gb version is the same speed, you just have the option of possibly using higher settings in some games. If you feel having 4gb vram is important, I advise saving up a bit more for the 1050 Ti. Not only does that card have the 4gb, but it's a faster card as well. There is a chance that future games may do well on the 4gb 460 via Directx 12 or Vulcan, so it might be worth gambling on that.

I did look at the 1050ti but wasn't sure if it would be bottlenecked by my CPU, I forgot to say I'm OC my CPU to at least 4GHz.
And that is what I was thinking about the rx 460 with directx 12...
The price isn't the main consideration, as long as its around £120, but I will spend a bit more for a better match
