Hi folks!
I've got really hard problem, because in every game I got hiccups. I mean that even if I got 60 fps or more the game sometimes feels like slowing down for 1 second, animations are slower, response looks with no difference at all.
The only problem that solving that is V-sync in game, but there is still problem sometimes it drops to 58/55 fps and I feel lag. Once per game run.
My hardware:
I5-6600k @4,4GHz
GTX 1070 Armor OC stock
G.Skill 16GB @3200 1,35v
AOC E2270Sw plugged by HDMI cable
Asrock Gaming K4 z170

All drivers are up to date. Flashed GPU card bios to newest because it's micron based vram.
Feels uncomfortable.

Solution
This is caused because your response time on your m onitor is 5 and the refresh rate is low.

I would reccomend overclocking Refresh rate as high as it can or getting a new monitor.

Hi,

Actually very high frame rates look like laggy on 60Hz monitors. Vsync limits fps to the monitors refresh rate so you don't see any lag. And most games doesn't have good vsync options. Most of them are broken. I suggest turning on Vsync through the NVidia control panel and disabling in game vsync.

Hope this helped.

That sounds as if the hickups happen regardless of V-sync or not. If you are talking like once a game session as you said, that isn't uncommon. Sometimes games have to load a bunch of data, and it causes a little hickup. Some games are better than others.

"Have you checked the temp levels? Perhaps an overclock with a stock cooler could have caused this."
Of course. GPU doesn't go above 60
Cpu doesnt go above 60.

I see no slow down. I have a feeling you are just extra sensitive to this. V-sync does create back pressure, and will smooth out games. No V-sync will not be as consistent.

You could go into the Nvidia Control panel increase the "Maximum pre-rendered frames". That may help smooth things out a bit for you, otherwise, use V-sync. It does more than just remove tearing.

I did this everytime after clean install:

I'll check if this happen in Full Screen mode. Because I always play in borderless.

One setting they used was "Maximum prerendered frames = 1". This one keeps latency to a minimum, but it also makes games less smooth. That was what I recommended you increase to 2 or 3. It may increase latency a touch, but it will smooth out the frames.
