Do I need to buy a hue+ controller for the NZXT aer RGB fans

Hi guys I'm trying to figure out if I need that hue+ controller for the Aer RGB fans I will be using 3 140mm fans or will I just be able to use the cam software but at the bottom of the website it says hue+ is required but on the bundle with the hue+ it says that it Includes 2 Aer RGB fans and HUE+ controller. LED strips not included so does that mean I get hue plus but have to buy led strips to get the RGB lighting because I'm really confused right now

I will be getting the 3 140mm ones that are $90 if I do not need hue+ but if I need hue plus I will be getting the $90 two 140mm fans with hue plus

The light strips are just there if you have a window case or you want to put them around your desk. They do NOT come with the Aer pack you want. They are seperate, just like my previous post states. Here are just the strips:
