Hey guys!

I recently built a new PC. The PC accesses internet through a internet network onboard card that wirelessly connects to a router connected to a modem. Sometimes the PC would randomly disconnect from the internet. The only way I can reconnect the PC back to the internet is by restarting the router. Why does this keep happening? Any solutions?

Thanks!

Check the wireless adapter configuration. For example, try manual configurations versus "auto-negotiate". Or if auto try manual.

Match to the router as closely and specifically as you can.

Also verify that you have up-to-date drivers via the wireless adapter's manufacturer.

Try re-arranging any antennas on the adapter and/or the router. Signal strengths could be at some threshold value where even some minimal signal loss drops internet connectivity.
