I think my system takes TFX format power supplies. The one I have in there currently is broken and my system won't turn on. I need a power supply strong enough to handle a better graphics card than what I have. I have an AMD 5450HD right now. But I plan on upgrading to something like a GTX 750. I have found out that I need a psu around 450 watts, but I cant find one with that amount in the TFX format. Please help.

It has more than enough power to handle a GeForce GTX 750 graphics card.

Your Acer 220W OEM power supply only has a main ATX (20+4)-pin, 4-pin CPU power and two SATA power connectors. If the new power supply has more connectors it doesn't matter.

System Power Supply Requirements for a single GeForce GTX 750
NVIDIA specifies a minimum of a 300 Watt or greater system power supply. (Minimum system power requirement based on a PC configured with an Intel Core i7 3.2GHz 130 Watt TDP processor.)
the system power supply must also have a maximum combined +12 Volt continuous current...

Those say HP computers, would they work on my Acer Veriton X498G? Or how hard would it be to get a bigger computer case so I can use the ATX format PSU because they seem quite a bit better.

You should be able to transfer it to a regular case, but you might run into an issue of the mounting holes not lining up for the motherboard.

As for using the HP PSU, the issue there would be if Acer used a special shape or connector out of the normal standards. It's a risk, but if you want a higher wattage and stick with your current case, it should work.

Definitely no need for a power supply greater than 300W.

Thank you so much, your help is appreciated. And for future reference. What are the measurements of this new psu?

3.2in (W) x 1.59in (H) x 5.9in (D)
