So my computer does a thing where it's randomly turning on by itself.

I've already flashed the BIOS, turned off wake on LAN(even though it's on wifi), disable windows media player auto updates per instructions from another thread, reset my BIOS, and disconnected on power cables going to the mobo and reconnected them.

It does not happen if I put the PC into sleep mode. It's more of an annoying inconvenience than a problem but if anyone has any ideas I'm open to suggestions.

Solution
Flashing or resetting the bios requires setting up the bios again. Start with setting optimized defaults then turn off all the start options in the bios. There are several depending on which MB you have. Check memory speed and timing too. Save your setting and see if that helps.
