Hey all. I am upgrading my computer. I have 3 backup HDD's in my rig now. If I put those into the new rig will all my data show up in it?

Solution
Hello... Your OS has "security" so you have to 'give it permission", to use them and view them... log on as Administrator.

1) Right click Computer-Manage-storage-Disk Management...
2) Right click the Drive Graphics below for the drive... (complete partitioning and formatting for a NEW drive if needed)...
3) And "Mark Partition as Active"

Hello... No you will not... If they are already NTFS formatted and with DATA... all you will need to do is "Mark Partition as Active" to get past security... and they will be ready to read and write in your new OS ...ok? adding and removing DATA drives is a very common activity with Windows and other Systems.
