I am a small Youtuber under 100 subs and I need to build a computer on a budget that is good enough to run famous games out there but can also edit and render videos easily or close as I have trouble editing with slow computers... I have a 2gb ram and quad core laptop from acer...

Solution
the Pentium has a score within 3% of the i3-6100, it's 3.5 GHz with no turbo boost, 3MB of L3 cache (instead of 4), but is hyperthreading:

overall performance:

And it keeps up with an i5-7600 feeding UHD frames to sli GTX 980ti

If you could bump up the price to $500 to $600 what can you upgrade on that PC or replace?
