Hi,
When I first plug in and turn on my PC each day I get a CPU fan error and have to press F1 to enter setup, it then reports that the CPU fan is running under 500rpm.
I am running a hyper 212 EVO so not sure if its normal for the fan to run below this speed and this issue has only started occurring in the last month.
I have went into the fan speed settings and set the warning threshold to 400rpm and hit save changes and exit but any changes I make in the bios don't seem to save and it just reverts back.
What I currently do in order to get to my desktop is just hit F1 and then exit without saving changes and this lets me get to my desktop, if I then restart my PC I don't get the error, its only the first time I turn it on after plugging in the power.
I have upgraded to the latest bios version and the same problem happens. Does this mean my BIOS battery is dead and needs replaced? the date and time are always correct whenever I get the error and enter the bios.
