Accidentally formatted SD Card, can all files be recovered?

So my SD Card is partitioned and I've been using Apps2SD to move apps/games to the SD Card (EXT2 partition) to free up internal space. But yesterday, I wanted to resize the partition size and it ended up formatting it. Are all my apps/games really gone? Is there no way I can at least recover their data? Because some of my games are single-player only and simply re-downloading it from the app store won't bring back all of its data.

Thanks for the reply! I have tried Recuva already, but it only recovered some images that were deleted, it failed to recover any of my games nor any data with them.
