Hello all, I am building my first gaming PC and could use some advise on compatibility of parts, parts alternatives or any other tips that you may have. I am based in Ireland so will be buying most of my parts on Amazon or eBay as local prices are extremely high for PC parts. Thanks in advance!

CPU - AMD AD860KXBJASBX & Cooler

MOTHERBOARD - Asus A68HM-PLUS

RAM - Kingston 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Non-ECC CL11 240-Pin DIMM ValueRAM (Hoping to upgrade in the future)

GRAPHICS - MSI Radeon RX 480 GAMING X 4G
*** OR
MSI Vulkan Polaris AMD Radeon RX 470 GAMING X 4G

STORAGE - Toshiba P300 High Performance 3TB HDD (Would an SSD with less space be better?)

PSU - EVGA 500 W B1 Series 80+ Bronze

If you are building a pc for gaming, purchasing an AMD chip is a bad idea until AMD Ryzen comes out. Games thrive on single core performance. As of right now intel's basic intel core i3 cpu beats out any AMD chip out on the market today. I'd highly recommend going with intel. Let me know your budget and if you need assistance pricing out an intel build for you.

Hi,
I play all types of games CS:GO, 7 days to Die, Verdun etc. Not many modern AAA titles but I would like to be able to run the likes of GTAV

My budget is ~€550 which is what this build is currently costing me.

Thanks for the reply!
