Hey, I currently have Corsair DDR3 Memory from my current build (Link)

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Corsair-CML8GX3M2A1600C9-Vengeance-Profile-Performance/dp/B00569K7LM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1484930182&sr=8-1&keywords=corsair+low+profile+4gb

I am upgrading my PC and have got the Asus Z170 Pro-Gaming Motherboard, I was wondering will my DDR3 Memory work on that chipset or will I have to buy DDR4 Ram?

(New motherboard ^^)

It's simpler than that, those are ddr4 slots, end of story, it's not that ddr3 hasn't been tested, it's simply the wrong socket.

What you said makes perfect sense where the question is does it support this speed of DDR3 etc. and certainly pointing to the QVL is always a good starting point, many can't even find the CPU list TBH.
