My first post here. I'm going to upgrade my monitor from 17" 900p to a LG Ultrawide 29" monitor (2560x1080) But am afraid my R7 360 which allowed me to play most of the games at 60FPS at High, can't handle the jump from 900p to 1080p Ultrawide.

Which should i buy to get Ultra setting at 60FPS?
Zotac GTX 1060 AMP 6gb or Sapphire RX 480 8gb Nitro+? Would my system handle these cards? My Rig details below.

Games that I play (or want to play) are GTA V, Watch dogs 2, Mafia 3, Assassin's Creed Unity/Syndicate, etc.

My Rig:
AMD Vishera FX-6300 (6 core)
R7 360 2GB
8 GB DDR3 (Dual Channel)
Corsair VS 550w
Seagate 2TB
Windows 10 Pro x64

Solution
Both will perform very similar, some games one will have a negligible edge over the other and vice versa. The RX 480 would be a bit more futureproof with its 8gb of vram.
