i3 7100 worth ?

Solution
The difference between 6100 and 7100 is 200 mhz, not really noticeable. So I would go for the cheapest of the two. The G4620 is a dual core without hyperthreading, any of the i3 will be better.
It depends on the purpose of the PC. The i3 7100 has a bit higher max clock frequency at 3.9 ghz, but only has 2 cores, though it does have hyperthreading. Still the multi-core performance of the i5 4460 will be better since it has 4 physical cores. This means programs/games that make good use of multiple cores will perform better with the i5. The difference in architecture doesn't make much difference since ddr4 2133mhz isn't a big improvement over ddr3 1600mhz.
I would only consider the i3 for future upgrading, if there will be no upgrading in the next 2 years the i5 will be the better choice.

Actually some of the new kabylake pentiums like the G4620 and G4560 are hyperthreaded.
The only difference b/t the pentium G4620 and an i3 7100 is 200mhz and VT-D/AVX2 instructions.
