I recently got a second stick of 8gb HyperX fury red ram to put into my computer, but something happened after instillation. My computer isn't booting up into the bios or showing the msi logo, it's just straight black. My monitor is a view sonic and it has an orange light when in standby and blue when it has a signal, it was orange everytime I turned it on, and my steelserieskeyboard and mouse won't turn on. My motherboard is a Msi 990fx gaming motherboard with dual channel ram slots, a Msi 960gx gaming video card, and a amd fx 6300 processor. With the ram I have four slots and put both in each one in different order and each individually in different slots and still nothing works. The ram works I know that for sure because I tested it in my brothers computer and they work, so it's just the motherboard but exactly what I don't know. Any help to fix this problem is very greatly appreciated.

1) Does the new 8GB RAM have as same speed/timing as the old one? If they had the different speed/timing, may try the 2nd step, even they had the same speed/timing.
2) Use one stick ram, go into the BIOS memory section, enable the AMD Memory Profile, check your MB manual page 3-14. Saving, exit, and shutdown the PC, install the 2nd one and boot the PC to see you still have problem or not.
Because you mixed two RAMs, I mean they are not the kit, and you will have the compatibility problem.
