Would i need to update my bios if I wanted to install a NVIDIA GTX 960 GPU and an AMD 8320e CPU (95w). My motherboard is a msi 760gma-p34(fx) (ms-7641) (not the best I know). Any help is appreciated thanks.

You don't have to. You should be fine with GTX960+ msi 760gma-p34(fx), but just make sure you had the PSU that can handle the gtx960.
