What to upgrade? New CPU? New MoBo? OC? AM3+, FX-4300

Hey, my name is Dan and I recently got a new computer. Since I don't know too much about PC parts, i decided to go for a somewhat cheap build, that sounded good:
MoBo: GA-78LMT-USB3 6.0
CPU: AMD FX-4300 on stock cooler
GPU: GTX 1050Ti
8 GB DDR 3 Ram
120gb ssd/ 1tb hdd

However my pc is not living up to expectations.. Currently I can't even play overwatch on a consistent 60fps on the lowest settings.. I'm thinking to upgrade. My question is (considering I'm a pc noob): What would be my best option to upgrade? Guessing my CPU is bottlenecking, so should I get a new CPU (8350/ 9590 etc.)? Or should I focus on getting an actual cooler and OC? Get a new MoBo and switch to intel? And what would be the easiest/ most comprehensible for me?
Willing to spend max $250, preferably less though. Thanks a lot!

PS: I got my pc at a company that built it for me. (I have never opened up a pc before)
PPS: I don't care about overwatch graphics, i just want 60fps. I would however like to be able to play GTAV/ The Crew on med-high settings if possible. :)

8350 and 9590 are FAR too power-hungry for the motherboard to handle. OCing, I wouldn't recommend. Experience here.

The 1050Ti should make 60FPS on high, 1080p ish. Turn down your resolution, are you still getting bad frames?

I'd use the $250 to an Intel i3, H110M from Gigabyte or Asus, and 8 GB of 288 pin DDR4 RAM.

Well the limiting factor here is the CPU. To get better performance you are going to need to lower your resolution. Lowering your graphics settings wont have much of an effect because your gpu is good enough to handle decent settings. Try playing at 1600 x 900 or 1280 x 720. I used to play on a similar processor and GPU and it made things much better although it does still suck. I would also second the guy above - AMD cpu's are very outdated and switching to a budget intel will provide much better performance. I wish you would have come here asking for build advice in the first place, would have saved u a lot of trouble.

Thanks for your quick answer. I could turn down my resolution, but since I want to play on borderless (to have quick access to 2nd monitor), I'd have to turn down my desktop's resolution, and that is just a bit too painful to look at. I guess I'll switch to intel.

I'm wishing the same right now, but what's done is done right? I don't really want to switch resolutions, since i play in borderless. So I'm gonna look at some intel cpu's. Thanks a lot!

Another alternative is to wait for AMD's new Ryzen CPU's. They're said to be more up to scratch with Intel CPU's or something like that. You could waitry, see how they run games, and if you still don't want one go to Intel (some people predict Intel prices will drop at the same time anyway)
