I understand that she really likes the case but to be frank, it's way way to expensive up there and it sacrifices performance and features for bling. This case just came out, it's ridiculously low proved and just won case of the Year for 2016 in it's category and the reviewers are raving about it.... I think if she watches the videos and sees all the features ... and it includes a fair amount of bling (RGB LEDs) , she may like it ... comes in numerous colors. Silent version is a bit more

I intentionally didn't use the current Z270 / 7600k components because i don't recommend living on the bleeding edge. When a new generation 1st arrives, there are the inevitable MoBo bugs which take 3 months or so to get fixed which requires an actual silicon change rather than a BIOS upgrade.

The most famous of these of course was back with the P68 series MoBo when everyone who purchased before B3 had to RMA their boards under an industry wide recall. Since then the problems have not been as massive but as Roseanne Rosanadanna said "there's always something"

In addition, as production lines improve CPU power efficiencies improve which means higher OCs and / or lower voltages. In 25 years of building PCs, I have just gotten to the point where I have been disappointed enough times that I resist the urge to buy things as soon as they have dropped ... on my last personal build, I waited till the C1 stepping on Asus Z87 RoG maximus series which ,meant i didn't have to deal with external devices not being able to wake up from sleep mode. However, if you want to g that route, the cost should only be $10 - $20 more
