Any major difference between the ddr4 speeds - 2400, 2666, 3000?
How does it compare to ddr3 1333/1600, noticeable performance increase?
Thanks.
Well..obviously faster RAM is a bit faster.
But you can't really compare 1:1, because the whole rest of the system needs to be changed.
CPU and motherboard.
Don't change the rest of it just in a quest for faster RAM.
I suppose this is two questions. How the ddr4 speeds compare, and generally how ddr4 compares to ddr3.
Building a new system, just wanted to know what's what in relation to ddr4 - there is a lot of ddr4 kits out there, probably too much. Seen some nicely priced ddr4 2400 kits, but was curious if ddr4 3000 was worth the price premium?
