Hi I own a Logitech G230 Headset and the sound in it has been turning off on the left ear, I found that it wasn't the ports but the middle panel you use to mute the microphone and lower the volume and when I move the rubber that covers the wiring in outside of the plastic case it seems to work again in both ears. Is there anyway to fix this ? Or would I have to purchase another headset?
Headset wiring messing up?

Ive had similar issues with similar headsets. There really is no way to fix it short of opening it up and rewiring it.
If its still in warranty contact Logitech, if not, try to make it work for the time being until you can replace it.
