i recently built this pc not to long ago (also i really only know the basics of pc's)

okay i first noticed something strange when my pc didn't wake up when i use to click my mouse,My old one did but then i left my pc on one day left the house, returned a couple hours to my pc not turning on. i could tell it was getting power because my mouse , keyboard and tower were all lighting up(my tower flashes color in sleep mode).

i unplugged it waited, plugged it back in, it worked , it loads up as if i shut it down but goes back to my apps running in everything.

now i started putting my pc into hibernate the first time it worked but ive also had it fail with the same problem . also im still dealing with it falling asleep problem. so basically if my computer is not shutdown i have to unplug it and i freak out every time because i know it cant be good for it and ive done it over 4 times now . i like putting it in sleep mode because its convenient for me also if i go make food or something it does it on its own.

i have no idea what the problem can be besides my hardrive because its really old and the only thing i didnt replace and is also know its dying on me for 100% fact is that why ?
(i also made sure everything in my pc is plugged in correctly )

also i have tried to take it into a repair shop but they charge me so much money even for a answer and i have 0$ in funds for pc repairs.

please help

Solution
Yes but over time a psu loses its power so im estimating that you lost around 35-60 w in the time you have had the psu. And the minimum reccomended for the card is 500. Try unplugging all usb devices and booting see what happens
