I accidentally merge the file system partition to other partition and make my WD elements external hard drive raw.

I can't format or wipe the partition of my hard drive.i can't add another partion.my hard drive has two default partition 1 for the file system and 1 for other.but I accidentally format it and make my hard drive merge the two partition then error pops out now it became raw and I can't access it it keeps on 100% read/write whenever I plug it in any computer.I don't know what to do.

That is really unpleasant. :(

You've tried to format the drive and you couldn't do it, or you don't really want to format it because you have some data stored over there?

If it is the first one, then you can try to write zeros on the drive with WD's DLG tool. This process would fill in 0 value in each sector: http://products.wdc.com/support/kb.ashx?id=kWQTKz
You can run both short and extended DLG tests on the drive as well.

If you have some data stored on the drive, then you can run some data recovery tool on the drive.
Also, you can try to attach the drive with a different USB cable to a different system.

Thank you for your suggestion.but still it takes forever to finish the test.and when it's done my pc go force restart.i don't think it work but if you have anymore idea.please help me.thanks. T_T
