How to know if my graphic card is dead

Hello,
I recently shipped my PC via fedex internationally and upon receiving it I saw that the box was thrown around. I open up my case and see my CPU cooler broken. I buy a new cooler and a monitor (Dell U2515H). When I connected it to my monitor via display port on my graphic card it didn't show anything except the message "Going to power save mode" I tried HDMI cable and the same thing happened. This is my card except it's the 2 GB version. If I remove my card and use the DP on motherboard it works fine. I've never used the DP before in past 4 years on my graphic card, I was using DVI exclusively.
So, the question is how do I make sure that my graphic card is broken and is there any way to fix it? (Although I'm pretty sure it is) I don't have another desktop to test it with.

Specs:
Asus P8Z77 V Pro
Intel i5-2500k
Corsair vengeance 2 x 4 gigs
Corsair RM850
Windows 10

The cooler didn't fall on anything. It just bent its supports. I had filled the empty spaces with bubble wraps. :D
The fan on the graphic card spins so I guess there's nothing wrong with power. I am just looking for a way to confirm if the gpu is actually dead.

Yes. I tried another pair of connectors just to make sure that the power supply is not the problem.
