If its for gaming the AMD Rx 460 cards have between 1.5 and 3 times the FPS output in comparison to your APU's on board graphics.

If it's purely just to get a HDMI output and you have zero intention of gaming, you can get like a Radeon R5 230 or Nvidia G 210 for £30/$37,

but if i use that hdmi card could i still use the graphics on apu?

No because the graphics card is giving you the video output.

If you want to continue gaming from your on board graphics really you need to either upgrade your motherboard, or purchase a VGA/DVI to HDMI active converter.

Does your monitor/tv not support older connections?

my monitor has vga,hdmi and composite,does the converter bring the same resolution as a integrated output?
