Hello guys,
Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
Lately my computer has been frustratingly under-performing in games that i used to be able to play at high frame rates previously.
In particular I am having trouble with counter-strike global offensive, a game that i used to get 250-300 fps in highest quality setting 1920x1080 but now I struggle to get 100 fps in 4:3 with low settings, with huge frame drops when grenades are thrown that causes usually even causes the game to freeze for several seconds.
Another example is when I play GTA V which ran smoothly a year ago, buildings don't seem to render in properly when driving around unless i go through task manager and set priority to high.
One other problem i have noticed is that my chrome crashes on youtube frequently with the videos turning green and chrome not responding.
I have recently upgraded to GTX 1070 from a GTX 770 but i do not think this is the reason i am having trouble and believe it has something to do with the CPU and or windows 10.
Specs:
GPU- Asus Strix GTX1070 OC
CPU- Intel i5-4590 3.3GHZ
RAM- 16 GB DDR3 CORSAIR RAM (4x 4gb sticks)
MOBO- Asus H97-PLUS
PSU- Corsair CX750M
(i also have 2 SSD's and 2 HDD's installed)
Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
