Is 2400mhz of RAM Speed Good?

Is 2400mhz of ram speed good enough? Is it enough for editing videos in sony vegas pro 13 and hardcore gaming, What I mean by hardcore gaming, I will be playing every single game on ultra settings at 1080p. The type of ram will be a ddr4 ram. By the way, My processor is the i7 6700k SKYLAKE. I just added this information because I think skylake processos optimize ram speeds (to my knowledge)

the slowest ram vs fastest you get MAYBE 1-2 fps difference if any at all dont wast money on shitty gimmicks get more "slower" ram instead of paying more for less "faster" ram.


+ and or the speed your ram can go is limited by the cpu so make sure that fancy fast ram can actually be used as intended but i reiterate GET THE MOST you can as amount not speed is what really matters.
