Power went out on Thursday in my location. My computer would not power on. Tried checking the connectors, leaving comp unplugged and holding power button, eliminated power button as problem by both using reset instead and jumping the pins. Replaced the power supply, installed, didnt work, rechecked connectors, didnt work. Fiddled around a bit, checked more connections but didnt "fix" anything and computer came on. I then turned it off, tried the old power supply, didnt work, bow its back to not starting up with the new power supply again. Suggestions or am I doomed to buy a new MB?

Did you try a clear cmos as well?
