Hello I have a PC with an i7 6700 with a msi z170a Gaming M3 mobo 850 watts cougar psu and a 8gb hyperx ram. Connected with the CPU I have a h75 corsair water cooler. When I turn on the pc and start using apps the temperatures in cpu reach 100 degrees celsius or 200 degrees farenheit. I use HWmonitor to check temperatures and everything is fine except for the CPU heat. I tried connecting the water cooler again on different pins but the problem persisted. I turned on the pc without the water cooler to see if the cooler was the problem but the cpu still reached temperatures over 80 degrees celsius when opening youtube. I am worried that the cpu is defected or something. What are the possible reasons for this problem?
thank you

Weird, I am having the exact same problem with my CPU. I have an intel core-i5 6600K, corsair h50, and just installed windows 10 fresh. I'll boot into windows, and my cooler fan will start going nuts and I'll reach temps of 80+ C. If I shut down and restart, I can boot back up and everything will return to normal. I have no idea what is causing this

No overclocking done and pretty much everything makes it heat up from simple facebbok surfing to watching a video on youtube
