I live in India and I'm right now using Airtel Broadband and using it with my Router and LAN for PC.

So I need a backup device as there are frequent power cuts sometimes in my city and it disconnects me from internet. My Airtel Router is of Huawei Company.

So which Backup device I should buy for my Router? Additionally I use a LAN cable or whatever we say it to connect it to my PC as it doesnt support wifi.

Solution
I would buy a small powerstrip or something similar to give you more outlets. I would then plug your speakers and the router into that. The router pulls almost no power at all compared to your computer. A new UPS is kinda expensive to just run your router on it
Maybe I don't understand something but why could you not use any UPS. The electrical power used by a modem is the same as used by your pc.

UPS vary a lot but in general the larger the battery the longer it will last. I have all my equipment plugged into UPS to protect them from even tiny outages.

Any device which uses an AC adapter (wall wart or power brick) won't care what type of UPS you use. You can get any UPS available, and as long as the battery backup kicks in quickly enough, the device will remained powered up. The AC adapter uses capacitors to store the AC power and convert it to DC power. So the exact waveform of AC power the UPS puts out doesn't matter.

You only have to worry about the type of UPS if the device takes AC power directly from the wall socket (no wall wart or power brick). For example, certain high-efficiency PC power supplies require a pure sine wave UPS.

The amount of power the device will use is also a factor. But a router is going to be down around 5-10 Watts. Pretty much any UPS is going to be able to power it for an hour or more.

If providing backup power to your Airtel is all you worry about, ANY UPS, because that guy uses less energy than your electric tooth brush.

Of course on the back of my mind, your Airtel stays up so...... what happens to your PC, your WIFI router?, your switch(es)?

Well Thanks! I guess I can buy any UPS for router, because the UPS I'm using with my PC is all used by my Monitor, CPU and Speakers so there is no room for my router, so thats why I guess I will have to buy a new UPS for the router.
