Do you already have that motherboard? Is there no CPU in it?
EDIT: The reason I ask is, the G3258 is 3 generations and 4 years old, and has been discontinued. There are newer, better CPUs and boards out now if you don't already own the board.

Well tbh i dont have the intel g3258 nor the motherboard but i just found a deal both for a good price so i think i will go for it thanks for the help tho

as long as it has the same socket type as your old I3 and is supported by your mobo then it will work
