So i want to install linux in a partition i made but i want to completely isolate that partition from windows8.1.
No file transfer, no connection in general, both ways blocked (in and out from each os to the other's os partition).
Searching for a how-to only gives me "how to isolate bad sectors from a drive".
Now what i want has nothing to do with bad sectors.
Regarding Windows, i have found some articles regarding blocking and hiding a partition for a specific user but what i need is not exactly that.
Also regarding the linux part, as i am very inexperienced with linux, i would love some info on the ways to build the linux side of the "wall".
Is what i am describing possible ? If not, will it be possible if i have 2 seperate hdds ?
