Hi,

I got a problem with my Radeon R9 390. Sometimes when playing a game it just shuts off. The fans aren't even rotating anymore. After I turn off my PC unplug it from PCI and replug it works again. (if I don't it doesn't). It all started a few week ago. Then, because of a little mistake of mine, a cable (i didn't fix it in position properly) blocked one of the two fans, which I was notified of by the screen suddenly turning black while gaming. (I of cause fixed the cable properly after that) After that it happened a few times, every time fixed by simply turning off the PC and waiting a bit before turning it on again. It didn't seem to overheat, at least SpeedFan logged ca. 66 C as the last measured heat before the screen going black. Also, the GPU didn't feel that hot (i opened the case to better overlook the GPU and fans) when I touched the plastic backplate.
Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem? I still have the warranty, but I don't want want to use it as long as I'm not sure it's a hardware.

(Don't know what to write in the end, so) Have a great day :)

PS: It's not a new build, the PC has been working fine and never had these problems for a year.
