hello guys.

so im going to pick up a rx 480 4gb or 1060 3gb pretty soon and I need to know if my motherboard is going to be compatible with both of those cards. thanks. the motherboard is dh61ww by intel

with older mb some gpu wont work due to bios bugs. both should work if your power supply has the waatge and the right cables for the new gpu. most time if there an issue the mb wont post. just make sure you buy the gpu from a known good vendor that let you return the non working gpu without a restocking fee. also to keep any issue from poping up make sure the mb has the newest bios on it.

I have DH61WW with i3 2100. Tried RX 460 2GB and it didn't work. Have not yet tried upgrading BIOS but mostly it may not work because of mobo is not supporting it. (see: "http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3324732/supported-mobo-460-2gb-paired-2100.html")

Sorry I logged in after quite sometime :(
I upgraded my bios with files downloaded from : "https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/23393/BIOS-Update-BEH6110H-86A-"
BIOS for this motherboard does not update directly to the latest version. You have to install updates in order. Example.:If I have version 0048 and the latest version is 0120, I cannot upgrade it directly to 0120, I need to first upgrade to version 0099 then to 0120 Each download shows a prerequisite on the website. Download CPU Z and find your bios version . Also , upgrade BIOS carefully , if done wrong it can render your motherboard useless.
