My pc won't boot up anymore it was working fine for 4 months. I shut it down for the night and the next morning tried to power it back up and nothing. The mother boards built in power button lights on and this little red light when I have the PSU on. But when I hit the power button it sends power to the cpu cooler and then nothing happens.

Specs: MSI Z170A Gaming M7, i7 6700, MSI 980ti, V8 GTS,
Corsair AX860, 850 EVO 250&500, G.Skill Ripjaws V ddr4 8x2,
NZXT H440

Solution
1) Try clear the CMOS by the jumper. After that try boot the PC, if you still have problem, go to 2nd step.
2) Test the PSU with paper clip method. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5FWXgQSokF4
If the PSU works fine. unplug the 980ti, use onboard iGPU, only use one stick RAM, and the SSD with OS to boot the PC. What happens? the PC can boot or not.
If the PC still can't boot, try test the PC outside the case.
