Can You Use a Custom Pump in an AIO?

Hi, the pump on my AIO broke recently and I was wondering if I could buy a compatible pump and connect it to the loop. I made sure everything was compatible. The one thing that I was wondering about was the order of the loop since the pump would have to be after the block. Thanks.

All you can keep would be radiator and maybe hoses. You would need new block because old, bad pump would impede the flow. Also need a reservoir because now you are making open, custom loop.

Actually I would see no reason why you couldnt depending on the system, my system had a magnetic impeller, once removed the flow was free. I would say don't waste it, at the very least you could take it apart and see what makes it tick, but it may very well work for you
