Hello I currently have an i7 7700k with an msi z170a gaming m7 mobo, 2133 16gb g.skill ripjaws v ram, msi gaming x SLI. The thing is after upgrading to 7th gen processor I've been having some problems mostly with audio. I was looking to upgrade the motherboard but haven't been able to make a decision on which one I should get. I was looking at the ASUS Maximus lX Hero or the MSI z270a Gaming M7 and the Gigabyte aorus gaming M7. I am going towards the asus or msi but can't decide. Will changing to ASUS affect msi graphics cards? Is Killer network really worth it? if anybody knows about these two motherboards please help :) Thanks!

What is your audio problem?
It might be a software issue. Download and run LATENCYMON (press the "PLAY" icon). If there's a software issue that can cause audio problems it will tell you after 10 seconds or so.

Also, run Memtest86 for a full pass (about an hour to complete). www.memtest86.com
- may need to alter the BIOS bootup. should be able to "point" to the USB card from within BIOS without changing the order

Killer Network:
Software still has issues, and from what I understand the Intel solution works about the same. Some gamers who require low latency claim it helps but that's not the general consensus from what I understand.

*You can also just buy a SOUND CARD or other audio device and disable the audio in the BIOS.

After changing the cpu from i7 6700 to 7700k I had problems accesing bios, any videos would give me an error or would load up but not play at all, realtek wouldnt recognize my audiojacks when I connected them. I reinstalled bios via m-flash and the bios worked fine but tried downloading all posible drivers needed in my pc to try to make it recognize my audio but still didnt work unless I plugged some headphones that had a usb plug. Today I formatted pc and audio did get recognized but it sounds exploded. Updated to new realtek drivers and nahimic 2 but audio still sounds like its exploding. I will try the latencymon solution right now and let you know how everything turns up :)
