8gb ram

So i wod wondering while playing rainbow six siege
I put all my graphic to the loweset setting and my display on the lowest one and still getting 45 - 55 fps which is really choppy
do my laptop is not powerfull enough for this game because i update my driver but it just make it worse
I'am looking foward for answer

Solution
Your laptop is not good enough.

You can turn VSYNC OFF in the game (causes screen tear), or try forcing the game to run at 30FPS->

1) NVidia Control Panel
2) manage 3d settings
3) add game (rainbow six siege should show up on top of list if just played)
4) select "HALF adaptive VSYNC" (or similar name), then SAVE

That should lock to 30FPS. If it stays solid you may be able to raise some graphics. It will feel more SLUGGISH than with VSYNC OFF but if you get screen tearing that is bad then this is your ONLY solution since you can't use normal VSYNC as that requires 60FPS (or you get STUTTERING if below).

Your RAM seems to be good, your CPU should be alright (we don't know what type of i7 or i5 but it should be alright). The only thing I can think of is that GPU. I'm not that good with laptop hardware, but I'm pretty sure that's it, somebody correct me if I'm wrong
