Hello guys!

I was searching a bit on internet and here on forum but couldn't find the right answer. So tell me,can those sticks have static lightning?

Some people are saying they made them static, some are talking otherwise...Also mentioned you need to have Z170 MBs. What is the truth? Is there a program for controling them or you need to fix that in BIOS? And is it truth that you need to have at least Z170 board to use that Corsair LINK or you can whatever?

I am having B250 Motherboard and I want to buy that led ram if I can make them static. Sorry for longer post and if this question is dumb but I need to know. Looking for help and thanks in advance.

I just got a couple of sticks of the stuff, I can say that static lighting doesn't work with the Corsair Link though it is supposed to, as in you can set it to be static but it doesn't actually change from breathing. It supports the 100 series chipset, with beta X99 support, and they've said they do/will support the 200 series (I assume it already does).

It works for some and not for others. ~

Thank you for respond mate. So it doesn't work at the end? :/ Maybe they will fix it later but it is redicilous when they lunch product and they fail on bringing supporting software that can control lightning,it's a big miss! Someone have any different expiriance maybe? Much obliged

I just bought a set 8x2 and no matter what, one stays static and the other breathes. Even if I mess with Corsair Link. I've tried uninstalling and all sorts of stuff. Doesn't help

I think it's their software. When I'm in Bios, they both breathe but the moment I go to Windows, it stops
