Hi guys, I have a bit of a weird issue here:
I have two ASUS AM3 motherboards; an M4A89GTD-PRO, and an M5A97 R2.0.
Neither of them will work with the XFX XT 600W PSU intended to power them.
In both cases, all that happens is the system starts up for a fraction of a second (Power light comes on, fans spin) but then powers off almost instantly, and won't power up again until the PSU is unplugged and reconnected.
It also seems that the PSU isn't faulty, as it powers a different system (Gigabyte G31 based Core 2 Duo) just fine, and the PSU from that system (an old Corsair VX450W) will allow both AMD boards to boot up fine.
Needless to say I am a little confused.
Since I can't just swap the PSUs (I doubt the 450W Corsair will be enough to run a Phenom II X6 1045T and Radeon HD7950), is there anything else I can try to get them working together?
What I've tried so far:

What I've tried so far:
■ Running with minimal components connected - just CPU, 1 DIMM (+ an HD6450 GPU on the M5A97)
■ Clearing CMOS
■ Replacing CMOS battery
