Hi,
I have Macbook pro 2014, recently I upgraded it from El Capitan to Sierra and I noticed that battery got drained faster, on El Capitan it was stay more than 6 hrs. with continues work but now on Sierra if it stay 3 hrs. it will be good, Also I suffering from lags after that upgrade!
I searched for rolling back to El Capitan but most of topics said that I must have an El Capitan time machine backup, but I didn't do this.
>> Is there any way to revert this awesome El Capitan again without losing my data?
Thanks in advance.

Solution
1. Have you installed all current updates to Sierra?

2. If so, have a look at this article and try the suggestions there before downgrading: osxdaily.com/2016/11/30/macos-sierra-battery-life-drain-tips/

Apple do have a habit of making it difficult to downgrade once you have updated the OS. Without a backup of the El Capitan installation it is going to be difficult and there is a high probability of data loss (although that is always true if you don't have a current backup).
