Yesterday I bought new laptop Lenovo IdeaPad 300. It was with no operating system on it, only with drivers for Windows 10. I installed Windows 7 and the internet driver for it. After that I wasn't able to search for connections or turn the wifi on. I tried to fix it from device manager, BIOS, Installing new drivers, searching for the "on/off" button (there is no button). LAN cable don't work as well.

If using WIFI check to see that the encryption type is supported. Ive had that happen on an older model before. Check to make sure that flight mode is turned off, which is like airplane mode and shuts down things. My guess is that other items work on your network?

It almost sounds like its stuck in airplane mode. Try holding the fn key and tapping once the radio button and see if that works.
