Hearthstone stuck at 24fps

Hi

i7 6800K Overclock 4.0GHZ
GTX 1080
4x4GB RAM
Windows 10 64BIT

For some reason today when i loaded it up it is stuck at 24fps. I have literally tried everything i know on resetting a game, such a wiping everything to do with it and reinstalling. Also nvidia experience isn't installed so that hasnt changed any of it settings.

All my other games work fine, such as BF1 ultra 100fps+.

What has caused Hearthstone to play up.

Go to C:\Users*YOUR USER HERE\AppData\Local\Blizzard\Hearthstone
Open options.txt
Insert following:
targetframerate:i=144 (number = desired framerate)
vsync:b=False
showfps:b=True (for a little number to show your fps, if desired)
