I changed my parts into a new computer tower, got everything moved, booted up great after checking BIOS, but noticed temp was a bit hot so I decided to change thermal paste after I shut it down properly and unplugged it. I unhooked the heat sync but when I pulled it off, the CPU was stuck to the back of the heat sync. In the attempt to remove the CPU it resulted in a bent pin that I was able to get lined up again. However, when doing the paste and hooking up my pc again. I have a solid CPU LED light lit and a steady blinking DRAM LED light at the top right. I have a feeling that I damage my CPU. I got a replacement coming later this week but just wanting to ask anyway.

My motherboard is a Sabertooth 990fx r2.0

When I boot up, despite the lights, fans are working, green light is on motherboard at the bottom, heat sync fan is going, power supply is going, video card seems OK everything looks good just won't fully boot up. I have even tried the battery thing on the motherboard to take out and put back in, as well as removing video card and ram sticks and I still get those lights. I really think its my CPU. :(

Not sure how you were trying to pry this off. You could have easily bent more than one pin. You may be able to fix it. Double check for more bent pins. You have made it worse by putting the cpu back into the slot.
