So. Just to clear off my computer was working before. I went to CPU-Z program for no particular reason and noticed that under memory category It said that channel was single (I have 2x8).
I opened my computer's case and noted that rams were on slots 3 and 4. I watched from my motherboard's (asrock z87 pro3) manual that it should be on slots 1 and 3 for dual channel. So then i changed them. Turned on the pc and I got an error that only 1 ram were recognized. So I decided to change rams to 2 and 4 (since that works too for dual channel).
But then when I tried to start my computer it didn't start and instead got three beebs. Which indicates to memory error right? So then I changed my rams back to 1 and 3 and then I got four beebs. Which means system timer failure. I find this really weird. Then i tried with rams on 3 and 4 like they were but that didn't work anymore. I got 3 beebs.
After that I've tried disconnecting all unnecessary devices. Graphic card, all USB devices, screens, Lan wire, hdd etc. Only had psu, CPU, mobo, ssd and one ram. I got 4 beebs. I've tried rams from my old computer so I'm pretty certain they are not the problem.
Could it be possible that one of my motherboard's ram sockets are broken? It seems like since I get different beeb error when rams are in different socket. But maybe something else? CPU? Is there anything I can do? I would rather not buy new mobo but it seems like it's the only option.
