Can I merge an unallocated partition to my primary partition (e.g. C drive)?

Here is my Disk Management: http://prnt.sc/dz0epi
Note: Disk 1 is my external drive, don't worry about that :p

I have a TON of unallocated space that I would like to combine to my primary partition. Is that possible? Any software that allows me to do that?

When I right click on the unallocated space, I get this: http://prntscr.com/dz0fwo

So I'm stuck. Is there something I'm missing? Is this even possible?
Thanks in advance!

CORRECTION: I know I need to make the unallocated, well, allocated. A new volume. Then can I make that new volume a part of my primary?

Solution

You disk is in MBR partitioning format. MBR doesn't allow accessing more than 2TB of your disk.
To access all the available space, disk must be partitioned in GPT format.

Since that is your OS disk, there will be several complications:
1. Your system must support UEFI boot (only UEFI system can boot from GPT disk);
2. Conversion MBR->GPT is data destructive, you can convert only empty drive;
2. You will have to reinstall windows.

Another solution would be getting SSD and transferring system to it (it may be possible without reinstallation depending on SSD size and used space on your HDD).

When you rclick C drive, there should be 'extend volume', although I am not sure whether that function is available in all versions of Windows (Win 10 Pro offers that)...

I get "extend volume", yes. So I just use that?
