So, about two weeks or so ago I built a new PC for my girlfriend for Christmas.
Specs:
Motherboard - Z170A M5 MSI
Processor - I7-6700K
Ram - 16gb Corsair Vengeance
Graphics - Asus Strix 6GB 1060 GeForce GTX
Operating System: Windows 10 64Bit
Now it's been working fine up until a day ago. Where my girlfriend was playing Overwatch - which she has been playing since it was built without issues - And all of a sudden after a match had ended both of her monitors just went into sleep mode. And just wouldn't work unless plugged into the mobo. Now I have no idea what to do.
I have tried switching what ports I've plugged the monitors into. The only port that hasn't been used is the DVI port and that's because I don't have the cord for it. I have tried switching the PCI-E Ports that it is installed to. And even reset the CMOS on the mobo. I've tried reinstalling the drivers but I get absolutely no read that the card even exists. The only thing that works are the LED lights associated with it.
Any suggestions on what to do. The only thing I haven't been able to do is troubleshoot it with another PC. Such as plugging the gpu into a different motherboard or even trying a different gpu with the motherboard we have.
