I might have messed up

So theoretically speaking, say someone were to put a 1155 cpu into an 1150 motherboard (i didnt do this i swear :/) What would happen? The Mobo pins dont seem to be bent, and there was no burning or frying.

Since they aren't compatible and have no hope of working together, you are likely to physically damage either the CPU or some part of the socket. If you didn't do either, it was pure luck.

they are not suppose to fit each other, it could bend the socket pins. Also, power off right?

they don't fit together fine.. all known logic says 1155 does not fit into 1150 fine!
