First time poster and first time builder looking to run some parts by the experts. Here is the lowdown:

Approximate purchase date Feb. 2017

Budget Range: around $1500 (system only) I have monitor, keyboard and mouse.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, potential for VR in the future

Are you buying a monitor: no

Do you need to buy OS: yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I like Newegg, but whatever is reputable and cheapest.

Location: City, State/Region, Country - Charlotte, NC (don't know of any local shops, but amazon delivers some stuff same day!)

Parts Preferences: intel CPU, nvidia GPU

Overclocking: Yes

SLI or Crossfire: No

Your Monitor Resolution: currently 1080, but may upgrade to 4K

Additional Comments: I will try and post what I came up with so far. I have a bunch of HDD's that I can put in for mass storage, but I was hoping to boot from the m.2 ssd if possible.

Solution
For a first time poster you did fantastic and for a first time builder you did fantastic as well. My only comments are:

- You might not need 32GB of RAM, mostly likely only need 16GB. A lot of games don't even use 8GB.
- You don't necessarily need a 750W PSU, you could easily get away with a 650 to save money, here is alternate

Both are good PSU's though
- While the 212 EVO is a great heatsink, for higher overclocks you might want at least a 240mm liquid cooler

Here is a revised build
